I get conflicting readings from various websites. The best I can tell is we are 5a/5b. Be sure to do your own research so if you do early planting you don't kill your seeds or seedlings. We have started some lettuce, peppers and tomatoes inside and plan to start more batches each week. We use our own harvested or purchased seeds for our gardens. We DO NOT use donated seeds for our gardens. Donated seeds are stored in a separately and used solely for this community outreach. We do donate seeds from our own harvested and purchased seeds. We feel that is only fair since we ask for donations from others.
